In the issue 13 Openhouse takes time to reflect upon memories of a journey. They share a weekend with Axel Vervoordt to discuss travel and collecting. They spend a day at Casa das Canoas by Oscar Niemeyer just before his great-grandson and former partner take up its renovation. Openhouse takes residence at Casa Estudio Max Cetto with his grandson in Mexico City, before ending their inspiring Mexico trip at the home of sculptor and designer Pedro Reyes and Carla Fernández.

Openhouse Magazine is a twice-yearly publication, that visits creative people from around the world, who open their homes or private spaces to the public, celebrating different activities in gastronomy, art and design.

All articles are published in English and the language of the interviewee.

Openhouse was started by Andrew Trotter and Mari Luz Vidal, working alongside a small team of collaborators of designers, writers and photographers from around the world. The magazine is filled with beautiful photography, interesting interviews of people who open special places around the world that the reader can visit and join in with the activities.
